NOTICE OF UPCOMING PRICE REVIEW

Hope this finds you well.

We, as the HostPinnacle Team, are grateful for having you as our customer and for the great support you have continuously accorded us. We would not be where we are today were it not for your continued support, and for that we remain forever grateful.

The web hosting industry continue to have numerous changes that significantly affect the way we do business. Notably, the following has happened within the last couple of months:

i) The .KE registry (KENIC) increased annual domain prices by 42.86%, earlier this month.

ii.)The registry for some general top level domains(.com, .org, .net, etc) increased its wholesale prices and the net effect to us was an 8% increase.

iii) cPanel software which gives you the easy to use graphical user interface for you to administer various components such as emails, databases, websites, etc, reviewed its prices upwards again, at the beginning of January 2025 (a net effect of 5% price increase).

iv) The cost of setting up servers has gone up in the various regions that we have our servers domiciled and generally we have had an increase in the cost of the various components used for our infrastructure setup with a net effect of around 10% increase.

In most cases, we strive to absorb the impact of these changes as much as we can, however, we have a responsibility to you, to keep a world-class quality of service when serving you. Overtime, we notice that these changes have a negative impact on our production process and this affects our vision of making it absolutely easy for every business to have an online presence regardless of its size. As you may be aware, affordable prices and quality services are a big thing here at HostPinnacle and our commitment towards this course remains firm regardless of the prevailing market dynamics.

In order for us to remain competitive and to offer quality services at the most affordable rate, we have had deliberations for the last few days putting different factors into consideration and thinking the best for our clientele. Our decision has always been to come up with a price review that favors the client as well as our production process in view of the numerous changes that we have had. This ensures that we remain consistent with good quality and caters for continuous improvement in our service delivery.

Effective 1st March 2025, we shall be changing our prices for various products on our website. The new prices will affect both new registrations and upcoming renewals.

Below are the new prices for the affected products, full details will be available on the relevant pages of our website, as the changes come to effect.

We would also like to mention that we do allow generous grace periods in case you are unable to settle invoices by their due dates. Should you have such a challenge, you can always open a support ticket with our billing department here: https://www.hostpinnacle.co.ke/clients/submitticket.php and we shall discuss on a suitable extension period to allow the service to continue operating till you make the payments. Should you wish to be granted such a grace period, kindly open a ticket prior to the due date.

We shall also continue to avail discounts as we get them from our various partners. Currently, through the help of the .KE registry (KENIC), we are offering the .co.ke, ac.ke, .sc.ke domains at KSh 500 for the first year. This is a limited time offer.

NB: If you have an active product already, you do not need to do anything, the price review for that product will be effected on its renewal date. For instance, if your package expires in October 2025, you do not need to pay anything for that package till October 2025 when you shall be renewing it.
